This lovely vintage stitchwork piece features a pair of sandpipers wading among shoreline vegetation and seashells. The tranquil, muted thread colors are offset against a brown fabric ground. The piece is finished in a substantial frame with aged gilt finish and anti-reflective glass.
In overall very good condition for its vintage age, the piece's frame has minor wear to the finish as shown. The glass is without cracks or chips. There are no large areas of stitch loss or tears in the fabric.
Approximate dimensions: Piece measures 18 inches wide by 15 inches high overall. Stitched area measures 13 ½ inches wide by 10 ½ inches high.
