Large Vintage Green Vietri Italian Majolica Leaf Bowl

This impressive vintage Majolica bowl adorned with intricate green leaves will be a unique addition to your tabletop, whether used for serving or as a centerpiece filled with a dramatic floral arrangement for a special celebration.

In overall very good condition for its vintage age, this piece has no large cracks or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). A few tiny fleabite chips and a less than ¼ inch chip along the rim as shown are due to the bowl’s age and prior use. Marked 7972/33 and Made in Italy on the bottom consistent with pieces produced for Vietri, the largest American importer of fine handcrafted Italian tableware for over 30 years.
