Vista Alegre Blue and White "Margão" Porcelain Vase

This lovely vintage blue and white vase by renowned Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre will merit pride of place on your bookshelf or mantel. A discontinued piece from the Margão line, this vase features decoration reminiscent of the always-classic Blue Onion or Blue Danube pattern.

In overall excellent estate condition, this piece has no chips, cracks, or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). The bottom of the piece bears the Vista Alegre backstamp as well as the name of the porcelain pattern, Margão. Negligible wear of the unglazed foot as shown consistent with prior use.

Approximate dimensions: 6 ⅞ inches high; 4 ⅛ inches in diameter at mouth; 3 ¼ inches in diameter at base.
